The meaning behind the Master/slave flag

Going to be working on the Gay Pride flag today. Need to have something to do.


My test was done yesterday and now i am waiting for the results. Still very tired from not getting much sleep yesterday after i got off work.


i have been thinking about many different things and may have to write about them at a latter date.

Happy Mother's Day!

i have had a wonderful day today with my son. We went to see a movie and then came back to the apartment and have been watching Pirates of the Caribbean.  i did some sewing today and made 3 flags for the quilt.
i finished the Master/slave flag and made 2 BDSM flags that still needs the hearts put on them. One will be the regular BDSM flag and the other will be the Poly flag with the open heart and purple infinity entwined in it.

Tomorrow, i will be taking Joshua back to my brothers tomorrow. We have had a wonderful weekend.
It will be a whole week before i get to see him again.  On Wednesday, i have my CT Myelgram on my back.

i just hope that they find something wrong!

Can't sleep

i can't sleep tonight, so much going through my head right now.
my CT Myelogram is next week, may finally find out what is going on with my back. It will be my luck that they don't find anything.
i am scared either way. Most of all i am scared that i could lose my job over this. i had to try, but it is an epic fail on my part once again.

i too, was always the good girl, the teacher's pet. never bucked the system and pretty much always followed whatever rules were given.

as an adult, i need those same sorts of rules. not my own but His. His rules, His guidelines, His standards. i also need to know that i'll be held accountable for following those rules.
and there will be consequences if i don't.

(figuring this out as i type it) i will do what is expected because i am still thatgood girl. but i need to know that at any given moment He could get a bug up His arse and check on my activities. again, the accountability.

i need to know that if i push, in some way, He'll push back. He needs to be more than me. smarter, stronger, better, more with it. and not able to be manipulated. if i can manipulate the situation, then i've won. and i can't win. if i can't win in the little things...then i actually win in the big picture.

so, i guess to answer the OP...someone who is more than me, and someone who will push back.

i so agree with the above. i am like this is no many different ways. This is what i am looking for and need in my life.

putting the list together

i am in the process of putting together the list of fabric colors that i am going to need for the project.
Right now i have a total of 24 flags to make. Thank goodness some have the same color in them.
i have more than enough of the black, blue and red. i am hoping that i will be able to find fat quarters of the other colors, which will make things much easier.
